Harvard Loop

Description: Awesome bike route - supremely fast downhills, and the challenging uphills are always rewarded with beautiful scenery. The entire route except the stretch on Route 111 stays off busy roads. Almost all of the route goes through beautiful countryside, through numerous farms, apple orchards, fields, ponds, forests, even past old cemeteries, and it skirts any ugly developments. The route has about 2,000 feet of elevation gain; it is shorter, but tough. It reaches multiple high points, and the western stretch throughout Harvard affords excellent views.
